Der Schwerpunkt meiner aktuellen Forschung liegt auf der Informationsverarbeitung im visuellen System. Insbesondere befasse ich mich mit der Beziehung zwischen sensorischen Prozessen ("low level"), visueller Kognition ("high-level") und sensomotorischer Integration.


Mein Ziel ist es, die Frage zu beantworten, wie komplexe Szenen und Objekte in einer natürlichen Umgebung wahrgenommen werden, wie sie im Gehirn repräsentiert werden und wie die visuelle Information zur Steuerung des motorischen Systems verwendet wird.
