Wie motorische Erfahrungen die prädiktiven visuell-räumlichen Fähigkeiten von Säuglingen beeinflussen: Eine Spezifizierung der mediierenden Prozesse

Projekt A7 untersucht, ob die wichtige Beziehung zwischen visuell-räumlichen Fähigkeiten und motorischen Fähigkeiten über das Säuglingsalter hinaus bestehen bleibt oder Veränderungen unterliegt. Erstens soll anhand längs- und querschnittlicher Versuchsdesigns der Entwicklungsverlauf dieser Beziehung vom Säuglingsalter bis zum Alter von 3 und 6 Jahren untersucht werden. Zweitens soll anhand von Trainingsstudien (Motoriktraining vs. Kontrollgruppen) ermittelt werden, ob die angenommene Beziehung zwischen visuell-räumlichen Fähigkeiten und motorischen Fähigkeiten auch bei Kindern mit potenzieller Beeinträchtigung prädiktiver Fähigkeiten aufgrund einer Frühgeburt zu beobachten ist. Drittens soll anhand von Blick- und Bewegungsmaßen in möglichst realen Aufgabensettings festgestellt werden, ob im Vorschulalter die Beziehung zwischen visuell-räumlichen Fähigkeiten und motorischen Fähigkeiten auch in natürlichen Alltagsaufgaben gilt.
