Education:

I studied Optometry at the University of Applied Sciences Jena from 1999 to 2003.
In 2003, I spent four months at the Department of Optometry & Neuroscience at the University of Manchester, England for my thesis.
From 2004 to 2008, I did my PhD at the Justus-Liebig-University Gießen under the supervision of Dr. Julia Trommershäuser and Prof. Karl Gegenfurtner.
Since May 2008, I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the Fielmann Akademie Schloss Plön.
