Post Fix Installation

• Install PostFix: apt-get install postfix
• Remove SendMail: apt-get remove sendmail
• change /etc/postfix/mail.cf
  • myhostname = www.allpsych.uni-giessen.de
  • mydesitionation
  • relayhost = mailout.uni-giessen.de
  • smtp_sasl_auth_enable = yes
  • smtp_sasl_security_options = noanonymous
  • smtp_sasl_password_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/saslpasswd
• edit /etc/postfix/saslpasswd
  • mailout.uni-giessen.de username:password
  • postmap /etc/postfix/saslpasswd
  • /etc/init.d/postfix restart
