How to apply

To be considered, applicants must hold a bachelor, a master, a Ph.D., or other equivalent degrees in neuroscience or in a closely related area.

To apply, please fill out this form and have one or two letters of recommendation sent by email to visneuro@uni-marburg.de.

If you are concerned about data protection and don't want to complete an online form, you can alternatively fill out this file and send it by email to visneuro@uni-marburg.de. Please do not fill out the online form and send an email, one of them is enough.

Timeline

Application deadline is March 8, 2026. All applications received before midnight (your timezone) on Sunday, March 8, will be considered.

A confirmation of receipt will be sent no later than a week after the deadline to all applicants. We are not sending confirmations of receipt for the reference letters.

Applicants will be notified about acceptance no later than April 11, 2026.

The tuition for the course, including food and lodging amounts to 1500 € and will be due upon acceptance.
